In Flow Ring is Pikaya’s first wax carving. The minute she started wax carving she felt she was in a flow state, it was the first week of lock down and wax carving was the only thing that kept her away from checking the news in every minute. And the in flow ring is here to remind us this wonderful mental state.

This spinning ring has a textured wide silver band overlaid with two brass bands that sit in contrast against its hammered surface. The movement of the bands is so satisfying to play with and the constant movement is why this is one of the very few times we use a different metal. The brass means the colour lasts for ever.

Through unearthing volcanic glass and reclaiming metal, Doa creates asperous pieces from objects that have had a previous life.
Using obsidian found in the volcanic regions of Kenya's Rift Valley, each of Doa's knaps of this rock have been individually hand-picked and hand-shaped to make this statement unisex ring.
