Pikaya Jewellery
Pinar Kaya De Biasio designs and makes handmade contemporary jewellery from her studio in central London.
She comes from a family where almost all males of her family are traditional jewellers who considered this occupation as “men’s job” and through her work she is challenging that belief.
After a degree and master in psychology and the first part of her career in the field, at a certain point in her life Pinar decides to go back to her roots and explore her family passion.
Her jewellery works started at Kensington and Chelsea College in London. Her first collection, Positano made it is launch at Fuorisalone-Milan Design Week.
She has a passion for metal work and simple geometric forms. Her pieces are characterised by clean lines and unique textures. She enjoys observing emotions of people around her and shapes them into jewel.

Sinlge Luna di Positano Necklace, handmade 18k gold plated sterling silver contemporary design necklace. Hand cut to form the “Luna di Positano" shape and soldered together to be cast in recycled sterling silver. It comes with a gold plated sterling silver chain.
Positano Collection is inspired by unique Positano coastline, contrast of two different forms sea and mountains. Pikaya used her signature texture to replicate this contrast on her designs.

Fat Bottomed Girls Earrings are created through the process of lost wax casting, hand-cast, hand finished to high standard shiny finish and gold plated with a thick layer to protect them from tarnish.

Luna di Positano Necklace, handmade 18k gold plated silver contemporary design necklace. Circles hand cut from a sterling silver sheet. Textured, rolled through the rolling mill to get ellipses and domed with a doming block. Hand cut to form “Luna di Positano" shape and soldered together to be cast in silver.

In Flow Ring is Pikaya’s first wax carving. The minute she started wax carving she felt she was in a flow state, it was the first week of lock down and wax carving was the only thing that kept her away from checking the news in every minute. And the in flow ring is here to remind us this wonderful mental state.

Fluid Necklace is hand-cast in recycled sterling silver using ancient technique of lost was casting and hand finished in a matte finish. Hallmarked by London Assay Office. It can be adjusted to 3 different lengths.
